Why is that whenever cold weather sets in problems seem to almost always occur in everyone's lives? From my car not working properly to my poor leghorn chicken getting a frost bitten comb. It's one thing after another. Man am I ready for spring to hurry up and come. On a more positive note I have several new chickens and am working on transporting a lovely new coop home :). Also my seeds are started and are already beginning to sprout. I have also placed an order with my local CLUC group for some chicks in march. It will be my first endeavor into raising chickens for meat purposes. I am nervous and excited all the same. Now it's time to curl up under the quilt and dream of the spring to come.
